Finally, the new term is up! Everything went very smoothly in transaction, no problems at all. Now, we have several things that are changed, you can refer to the PM sent out yesterday, or check the thread out in the announcements to see what went down in the few hours the site was inaccessible. Classes have started, students must attend them!

So yeah, this is the New Term we've all been hyped about. I don't speak for everyone, but I definitely think I was the most pumped for this. Loads of changes have been made, the complete list should be in the Announcements board, if my lazy butt got to it in time. Yes, by the way, I'm posting in future tense. As I post this now, everything's still being worked on, but you know what? We'll deal.

(I know how long you've been waiting for this, so I hope it meets your expectations, I had an idea for the meeting part, I think it works if they've never met before.)
Camden was quite literally running through the corridors, he was late, as usual, and although this didn't particularly matter to him, he knew how his sister was when it came to time keeping, and so he had to sprint down a bunch of stairs, through a couple short cuts he knew, and along a corridor. Luckily, class was in session so it was unlikely he would bump into anyone, that was what he thought at least, until he ran into a girl.
He didn't see her face until he was on his knees over her, trying to stop her from hitting her head too bad with his hand. "Um," he said, looking down at her, she was beautiful, and his age, it seemed. He didn't move for what seemed to be hours, and then it dawned upon him that he was even later than he was going to be in the first place, and that this poor girl beneath him didn't even know what was going on.
Cam pushed back onto his knees, and stood, offering her his hand to help her up. He looked around, the contents of his bag were strewn across the corridor, and as far as he could tell, it seemed hers were too. He bent down to scoop his bag off of the floor, subsequently grabbing everything that looked like it was his and throwing it back into his messenger bag. Cam turned back to the girl, and was once again hit by a feeling he didn't even recognise. It felt a little like fireworks in his stomach, but that was stupid.
"Sorry about that," he offered, rubbing the back of his neck, his shirt lifting slightly to show part of his abs. He let his arm drop and offered his hand to the beautiful one. "Camden Orlando Bradford," he introduced himself with a boyish smile. "Very nice to meet you," he said, quirking one of his classic lop sided smiles.

Katelyn was walking through the halls of Hogwarts until her next class. She had a free period right now and she had nothing to do. She could go to the library and write the essays for the classes she already had but she thought that that would be so Ravenclaw so that was scratched off the list. She could go to the common room and read her book that she was really attached too that she could barely put it down before she wanted to pick it back up and read it again but that was also very Ravenclaw...so that was scratched off the list as well. There was nothing else for her to do that would be too Ravenclaw besides walk around aimlessly until the bell rang for her next class. She was glad that she had brought her stuff with her so she could just walk off to class once the bell rang. Of course...she regretted bringing her stuff with her when someone literally ran into her.
She let out a yelp as she felt herself fall, with her eyes closed and she expected to hit her head on the ground hard but she didn't hit her head too hard...she didn't hit her head at all in fact. She opened her eyes slowly and she found herself staring into his eyes, getting lost in them. She blinked hard for a few seconds, waiting for her mind to come back. "Umm..." She said back, not really sure what to say to the boy above her.
She was about to take his offered hand when she caught sight of her stuff all over the floor from the corner of her eye. She sighed annoyed but not at the boy but at the fact that her stuff had exploded from her book bag instead of staying in there like it should have. She started grabbing her stuff and shoving them in her bag. She grabbed her potions book and she stood up. She noted how this book did not look like hers and she opened the cover and saw not her name but the boy's name. She smiled softly before she closed the book and looked at him with the book held out. "Umm...here's you Potions book. I think you grabbed mine by mistake."
Kate smiled and waved her hand dismissively. "It's fine. I'm okay." She glanced at the abs he had revealed when he rubbed the back of his neck and she tried her hardest to not stare at the exposed flesh. She quickly looked back at his face as he introduced himself. Kate smiled as she introduced herself, "Katelyn Joan Beck." She grabbed his hand and she gasped quietly when she felt a little spark go up her arm as their hands touched for a simple handshake. She looked up at him and smiled softly at him. "It's nice to meet you too," she said honestly.

Cam winced a little at her yelp, He wasn't accustomed to having girls yelp around him, let alone as a result of him. He looked down into her closed eyes, and waited for the wince that he thought would come, but it didn't. He had managed to stop her from hitting her head, which in his eyes, was a successful mission, for at least then she wouldn't get brain damage.
The fact that they seemed to be conversing in umms set Cam off course a little, he was usually very good with girls, but his talents didn't seem to be becoming him at that moment. He barely noticed what he picked up, but it seemed that he had picked up the wrong Potions book, as the girl was there, holding his out to him. He opened his bag and fished out the on he had scooped from the floor, flipping open the cover to glance at the name inside of it. Katelyn Joan Beck. Cam closed the book and held it out to her, a smile on his face as he took his from her hand, their fingers brushing as he did so.
He didn't notice her glance towards the flesh of his abs, but even if he had, it would only have made him smile. He felt the little spark, it shot up his arm, making his hair stand on end. "This may seem a little presumptuous of me, but would you like to hang out some time?" he asked, completely mesmerised. It wasn't usually his custom to ask someone out with five minutes of meeting them, but then he didn't really have time to waste. He was meant to be with his sister right then. Cam looked at her hopefully, but with eyes that asked for a quick answer.

To her it was slightly awkward because of the umms that went on between them. She didn't know what to say to him for she had only just met him. She had a feeling that he had class and she was slightly dreading that he did because she wanted him to stay and talk. She was usually calm and collected when she talked to guys but this guy was very different from the others. She got that stupid butterfly feeling in her stomach and she knew at once that what Dante had said to her was right. 'It just happens,' the words that he said fluttered through her mind as they switched books and she felt a little tiny spark.
Katelyn couldn't be happier that he didn't notice that she looked at his exposed abs. It would have been embarrassing if he had seen her stare and almost drool. Really, she had been on the verge of drooling and she hadn't drooled on accident since she was a baby or something like that. She pursed her lips together slightly and tilted her head to side when he had used a big word that she had obviously known since she was a Ravenclaw after all. Kate's pursed lips turned into a warm smile as he asked her out on what sounded like a date. "Sure. Just name the time and place and I'll be there." Kate realized that this...was a very good day for her.

He didn't care that virtually their whole conversation had been based on ums, he was busy trying to distinguish the butterflies from the fireworks that were attacking his stomach. He had switched books with her, trying to ignore the electric that had shot up his arm, as little as he wanted to, he wanted to touch her again and see what happened, but instinct told him that that was more than a little weird, and so he refrained. Although it wasn't without difficulty that he did so.
He didn't even realised that he had exposed flesh when he had rubbed his neck in a quite shy, embarrassed way, it wasn't like him, he was usually the picture of confidence, smooth and unabashed. Of course that had to change right at that second, when he had something to do, and he couldn't stop and talk. He was completely happy with her answer, and although he was going to suggest that tomorrow would be a good time, he couldn't wait that long, and so the time he suggested was rather sooner than he had anticipated. "This evening, dinner, five, I'll meet you in the entrance hall," he said, feeling a little more normal, this was him, his usual self, smooth as a baby's bum.

She found herself staring into his blue eyes and she felt herself getting trapped in them. She suddenly remembered what had happened with her and Caleb and she felt a sudden need to run and hide. He was her best friend and he had abandoned her when she needed him most. She immediately put a guard up in front of Cam because she didn't want to get hurt again.
Kate looked at and she was shocked at the sudden date. "Tonight?" She asked as stared at him,(pretty much like this: O.O). Kate cleared her throat a little and she changed her face expression. "Okay. Tonight sounds good." She stood on her toes and gave a little kiss on his cheek before she walked past him, biting her lip and blushing. Kate turned her heard around a little to see if he was watching her or to see if he was leaving so she could get a good look at his behind.

Cam saw the way she sort of closed off, and it confused him a little, but as far as he could tell it was nothing major, and if it was, then hopefully he would find out later. He almost laughed at the way she looked at him, with eyes as wide as saucers, he didn't, again it was not without difficulty, but he managed to do it. It was more amusing to him when she changed her expression, and cleared her throat as if his proposal had been something mild and completely unshocking. He gave her a smile, and hoped it would persuade her to accept his offer.
It must have worked, because she did accept, and it made him stupidly happy, considering it was just one date. Just a few hours of company, that could all end in tears. He was surprised when she pecked his cheek and walked right on past him. It was happy surprise, and it brought a small smile to his lips and a spring to his step as he walked away, then realising that he was walking in entirely the wrong direction. He doubled back and took a short cut, entering the classroom his sister taught in just as the bell rang. He didn't seem particularly interested in what she had to say, his mind was too busy mulling over the rushed five minutes of electrical activity that he had shared with someone who he had a feeling was going to become very important to him.

Kate watched him walk away and her eyes traveled to his lower half, aka his behind. She giggled as she saw a hop in his step. She giggled again as he realized that he was going on the wrong direction. She shook her head slightly as she continued walking to where she was going. Kate had a slight happy step in her walk as she walked. She was excited for tonight. She couldn't wait to be dressed to impress and she couldn't wait to see Camden Orlando Bradford again.
