• Don't get into a huge argument with another member. The only exception is RP fights. Both parties will have equal punishment if it is OOC.
  
• No godmoding. This means you can't control another person's character in any way, shape, or form. The thoughts, feelings, actions, diologue, etc. of another character is to the discretion of the owner.
  
• Drugs, suicide, rape, teacher/student relationships, cutting, teenage pregnancy, and/or child/animal abuse are not allowed here. However, if one of these things are in a characters history, it might be acceptable. Drugs, however, are not.
  
• Be active. Any characters inactive for 30+ days will be deleted.
  
• I don't care how lazy you are. STOP USING OTHER CHARACTERS TO RP OTHER CHARACTERS.
  
• If a character is deleted, then the character is gone from RP, all plots with said character are broken.
  
• Don't argue with mods or the admin. They are the ones in power for a reason.
  
• As a forewarning, swearing IS allowed on this site, as is mature content.
  
• If your account has been deleted unrightfully, or accidently, immediately PM a staff member so you can get Sorted and back to where you were. Do Not Start Posting Without Notification.
  

• Avatars may not exceed the dimensions of 100x100.
  
• Banners may not exceed the width of 500px, nor the height of 350 px.
  
• No nudity.
  
• Do not use them to link to your site.
  

• Don't advertise anywhere but the Advertising board.
  
• Don't advertise through pm unless the receiver has asked you directly for the link without your insinuation what-so-ever.
  
• Don't spam my chatbox.
  

• Posts have to be 500 characters at minimum. There is a code in the boards that enforces this.
  
• Posts have to be third person, past tense.
  
• Pay attention to the first post, and look over the thread before you post.
  
• Don't use size one or script fonts.
  
• There is a limit of only one blockquote per post.
  
• Don't type like you're talking to a friend! This is an RP site, not a chat room. ("lyk omg i lyk totly <3 u!")
  
• The only people allowed to post in classroom threads are the students and the respective teacher. No one else.
  
• Don't change the color of the text in your posts. There are several different skins with different color schemes, and the text color has been picked carefully so as the text is easily read.
  

• We are not accepting characters, or celebrities of Japanese descent. JK Rowling said herself that Hogwarts doesn't accept transfers. Not only that, but with the growing popularity of anime, most people are coming on Harry Potter sites and playing their favorite Anime character as it would be if they were magical. There are Anime HP RPG sites for that, and this is not one of them.
  
• Death Eaters are very rare these days in AK age, so to say that your character is a Death Eater is highly unlikely. However, you may sign up to be one.
  
• No Mary Sue's or Gary Stues.
  
• This site is strictly a Harry Potter site. Not a Harry Potter/Twilight, not a Harry Potter/Fruits Basket. Harry Potter. So no characters of other things will be accepted. You may base your character's personality or celebrity on one, but you may not choose both, nor may you name them after one.
  

• Please consult the list of available canons before you apply for one.
  
• Unless you can prove that your character is a canon based on the stories, they are not a canon. (I'd like exact page and book numbers if it's not a well-known character).
  
• You can't be related to a Canon unless you can prove your character's existance. Such as, Harry Potter does not have any siblings, nor any wizarding cousins. You can, however, say that you're the cousin or grandchild of a character that's not well-known, such as Regulus Black or someone like that, as long as you don't say you are immediate family, and as long as you keep in mind the time frames and generation gaps with the characters.
  
• You can not use the celebrity that a canon already has for a non-canon.
  
• Since we were here long before the epilogue, some character pairings might not have happened, please consult the "Married Canons" list.
  
• Some Canons might not have kids, and are not having kids, consult the "Married Canons list".
