Finally, the new term is up! Everything went very smoothly in transaction, no problems at all. Now, we have several things that are changed, you can refer to the PM sent out yesterday, or check the thread out in the announcements to see what went down in the few hours the site was inaccessible. Classes have started, students must attend them!

So yeah, this is the New Term we've all been hyped about. I don't speak for everyone, but I definitely think I was the most pumped for this. Loads of changes have been made, the complete list should be in the Announcements board, if my lazy butt got to it in time. Yes, by the way, I'm posting in future tense. As I post this now, everything's still being worked on, but you know what? We'll deal.

"Uh, that's good to know, I guess..." Caleb raised his eyesbrows. Wow. He thanked his lucky stars he didn't have a sister. Well, at least that he didn't know of. His mother left him and his muggle father the day he was born. He shook his head and frowned slightly.
Caleb watched Riley's eyes travel over to Caleb's ring, and he asked, "What's that?"
Caleb smirked. "It's a purity ring. I made a vow not to have sex before marriage." He laced his fingers together and rested them under his chin, raising his eyebrows. "I got it three years back, over the summer." He paused shortly before saying, "Go ahead, make fun."
He slightly smirked as Riley said, "A party, hopefully."
I would love that right now, Caleb thought. He hadn't taken a break in a long time.
"Yourself?"
Caleb contemplated for a little while. "Nothing really. My father hasn't really updated me on things that are happening back at home." He paused and continued, "And things here at Hogwarts are currently uneventful." He smiled then added, "Well, for me anyway."

Riley snorted at Caleb's response, he clearly didn't approve, nor did he understand the beauty of such a forbidden act of taking someone's innocence, of causing someone so much pleasure that they would scream your name until you could no longer hear anything but the sounds coming from their mouth. Not feel anything but the heat, the smell of sweat and blood, the sound of hearts beating in synchronisation. That was the beauty of it, it was art, perfect art.
"A purity ring?" he mocked, "Marriage?" he couldn't help but laugh, it was so far from his own plans for the future, from his lifestyle, and morals, that he found it hard to believe. He could never do anything like that, and so he sort of admired him for refraining from such an act, such a sacred and beautiful act that he couldn't live without. That he would rather die than live without.
"For you, I'm sure, for me, things are always eventful," he said, a smirk playing on his lips, he wasn't surprised that Caleb's life at school was uneventful, with him not being able to partake in the best activity known to man. God, he was probably forever wrapped up in school work, or reading. Even in his thoughts he made a mockery of the word, so undeserving of his time that could be spent pursuing other projects.
I hope the air will serve to remind you that my heart is as cold as the clouds of your breath.

Caleb slightly rolled his eyes. Of course Riley wouldn't understand; when he partakes in such an act his emotions only run so deep, Caleb predicted. Had Riley ever been in love? Had he ever craved more than just a girl's body? Caleb shook his head, a small smile forming on his lips. Riley would never understand his reasons.
"For you, I'm sure, for me, things are always eventful."
Caleb's eyebrows rose but kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to be sporting a black eye for the rest of the week. Caleb peered around Riley and, as much as he hated admitting it, wanted a girl--any girl--to show up. He didn't want to force conversation anymore with Riley, growing a bit tired of having to bite his tongue when a smart-aleck comment swam through his mind. He sighed and tore his gaze away from the entrance of the library, looking back at Riley. Caleb waited in silence; it was Riley's turn to talk.

He could guess what Caleb thought of him. That he had missed so much, or was going to miss so much if he devoted his life to the seduction of women. He could guess the words that the other boy would use in his mind, the questions he would ask. Had he ever been in love, would he ever be in love, did he care for nothing other than sex, and decadence. His suspicions were most likely confirmed at the smile that enveloped Caleb's lips. He couldn't understand what Caleb's reasons were, but he could understand his own reasons.
Riley wasn't quite as heartless as everyone thought he was, he just bottled it up, released it in those moments where he felt so complete, where he could let everything go. There was one girl he would give it all up for, or make that two, one princess who was his, in body, at least, and he hated that he shared her with other people. The other was his mother, who's death he had been responsible for. She had died in childbirth, and of course, that made it his fault, if she hadn't got pregnant with him, then she'd still be here. He pushed those thoughts out of his head and looked up at Caleb.
"You can say what you want, you know, I'm not really the kind of guy that uses my fists all that often," he said lazily. It was the truth, he hadn't really got into major fisticuffs with anyone before, and not even got into a disagreement with someone who voiced their opinion, or made a comment.
"I could get you into the party," he offered, noting the way Caleb seemed to be looking around, in near perfect imitation of the way he, himself checked around the library every so often to see if an interesting-looking female had walked in. "You could meet your wife there, or whatever it is you're looking for," he sneered slightly, but it was lessened a little by the faint smile that sat upon his lips.
