Finally, the new term is up! Everything went very smoothly in transaction, no problems at all. Now, we have several things that are changed, you can refer to the PM sent out yesterday, or check the thread out in the announcements to see what went down in the few hours the site was inaccessible. Classes have started, students must attend them!

So yeah, this is the New Term we've all been hyped about. I don't speak for everyone, but I definitely think I was the most pumped for this. Loads of changes have been made, the complete list should be in the Announcements board, if my lazy butt got to it in time. Yes, by the way, I'm posting in future tense. As I post this now, everything's still being worked on, but you know what? We'll deal.

She laughed at Mona's answer to 'pourquoi'. "All right. I was just wondering." She laughed more after Mona yelled her happiness that the food had come and she let Mona pull her over to the table.
Kate sat down across from Mona and she smiled at the House Elf that had brought her food. "Thank you." Kate grabbed her utensils and she started eating her food with manners when she knew that she didn't have to have manners. But she thought that if she was in Mona's position she wouldn't want to see her friend scarf her food down like some kind of animal.
She looked up at Mona and she shrugged. "Not really. Nothing isn't happening unless you count the night I was almost killed in the forest. Then ya, that's all that's been going on." Kate pushed the thought of the forest far from her mind. She didn't want to think about it anymore. "How about you? What's been going on with you? Anything new?"

Mona watched as her friend used fake manners when she ate. She knew if Kate was hungry, she would scarf down food like a ravenous cheetah, but she let it go for now and began eating her hash browns.
"Nothing. The most fun I've had is hanging out with you and Darcy. This is my highlight of the week. Going out for a swim and eating breakfast. The rest of the time, I'm in my dorm listening to music, or on the computer." Mona looked up from her food. Then smiled. "Any guys I should know about Kate, you know how you can get."

Kate felt Mona's eyes on her but she didn't do or say anything. She started to scarf down her food cause she was starving and she saw Mona eat her hash browns.
She nodded, understanding fully well what Mona was talking about. "I totally understand that. Just a few days ago I caught up with Darcy. It was nice to talk to her. She said she was going to help me sort out some...issues...that I have," she said carefully. She never told Mona about how she drank alchohal and smoke. It was like Darcy. She didn't want to disappoint her friend.
Kate laughed at the question and comment that Mona made about boys. "Mona, darling, you have no idea how many guys have been in the picture now." She laughed a little more as she took another bit of her delicious breakfast that the House Elves made.

Mona nodded, she could tell that there were some things Kate didn't want to tell her, and Mona could understand that, even though Mona knew that it didn't matter what Kate did, Mona would always love her. She let it go for now though.
Mona laughed. "I expected that. Should I guess, maybe ten. Or less?" Mona laughed again and took a bite of bacon. 'This is really good.' Mona thought, but that only made her think about how good her mom's breakfast used to be. Which brought back those random weekend mornings when her mom would wake up and cook. She pushed back those thoughts and took a sip of orange juice.

Kate narrowed her eyes at Mona. "It's been a lot of guys but not as many as ten so I have to say you guess less." Kate decided to just tell her how many guys had been in the picture. She chewed on her lower lip as she mentally listed off the guys that had been in the picture and she also decided to tell Mona her relations to those flings so she could avoid the question. "Well...there have been five guys, from what I can remember. There's Oliver Flamme. He and I are friends who have the sexual needs so we set up a 'meeting' and just...you know do it. There was Dante Black but he and I decided to just be friends although I admit that I would probably, maybe, possibly have sex with him if he asked me again. Mind you that is just a guesstimation. Riley Ashurst and I had sex as comforting because...well I'll tell you that later so don't fret love. There's Adam Aiden Frei and that was a simple fuck. Nothing special about it except that it was fucking fantastic. Lastly there was Pete Conway. He was like a hott goth so yeah...nothing really to it." She shrugged and laughed at casual she was about it. That's just how she was and how she felt about sex. It was just a natural thing to her.

Mona stopped mid-bite. Her fork filled with waffles and syrup, was inches away from her mouth. She sat the fork down and looked at Kate, her eyebrows up to the ceiling and her eyes wide. She looked down at her food. It still looked appetizing, just less appealing at the moment. She took a deep breath and rolled her eyes.
"My god, Bubbles. What are we gonna do with you? One of these days, someone is gonna call you a whore, then I'm going to have to step up and whoop their behind because no one is allowed to talk to you like that." Mona shook her head and picked up her fork, still full of food. Then she laughed ever so carelessly and started dancing to a song stuck in her head, then laughed when she realized people where looking at her funny. She didn't care. She was weird in her own way, and wanted everyone to know it.

Kate laughed at Mona’s actions when she was done talking. Yeah, she was with a lot of guys in the past few weeks or months but it was with good reason…sort of. She just always seemed to be around when the man-whores wanted someone to play with. She didn’t mind at all. It was life to have sex and stuff. It was normal to her…well now it was but she was trying to change. She didn’t like guys thinking that she would have sex with them just because she had sex before. It annoyed her. Plus, she hated it when she met a guy that she thought she could be in a relationship with and as soon as she said her name, he instantly knew who she was and all on his mind was sex. It royally sucked.
Kate shrugged and took a bite of her food. “I have no idea but I like the new nickname, Mona. It’s cute.” She smiled kindly at Mona. “I can always count on you, can I?” She laughed a little as she remembered when someone had made fun of her hair and Mona kicked their ass into the Black Lake. That was funny.

“I have no idea but I like the new nickname, Mona. It’s cute.” She smiled kindly at Mona. "Why thank ya, darlin!"
“I can always count on you, can I?” Kate said, smiling kindly. "Of course girly, I will always be there, no matter what. And I won't leave, no matter how pissed you make me." Mona laughed a little. She remembered the time when their friendship was almost ruined. Mona swore she would never let something like that happen again, and it hasn't they've been besties since they were six and that wasn't going to change. Even if Mona moves away.
Mona looked up at Kate as she giggled a little and there was a light behind her eyes. Mona laughed, she knew Kate well enough that she knew exactly what she was thinking. Mona laughed as well.
"Kate, your thinking about that time some random Slytherin was talking bad about you hair. And I kicked them in the back of their leg and pushed them in the Black Lake, aren't you?" Mona laughed harder.

Kate laughed at Mona. She was being such a dork right now, like she had gotten high off of Halloween candy or something. "You are such a dork! But that's one of the reasons why I love you, darling dearest."
Kate smiled at Mona when she said her kind words. "Well, that makes me feel comfortable that no matter what I say that makes you pissed, you'll still stick around but I will try my best to not be bitchy to you cause no one that means a lot to me, like you do, deserves to be treated like crap."
She laughed even more when Mona spoke of the memory. "You know me so well, Mona and yes I am thinking of that time. It was funny and it meant a lot to me."

"I know I'm dork." Mona said, then even louder she said, "Say it loud, I'm a dork and I'm proud!" Mona laughed, there was a lot of that in their friendship.
Mona almost cried, "Thanks so much Bubbles. You are truly one of my best friends. It would suck if you left me." Mona smiled sincerely. She had finished her food.
"You know me so well, Mona and yes I am thinking of that time. It was funny and it meant a lot to me." Kate said laughing even harder. "Hell, I should know you well, known you for how long now?" Mona laughed. "And it was a good time for me too, shoot. I was the one who got suspended, the little Slytherin rat snitched on me."
