Admin Ashley's computer completely crashed on her. Luckily, she is getting another one in 2 days time. In her absence, she has been working on everything from plots to the Rewards System to the Site calendar. Thursday, expect her to be here and kicking butt once again.

This board is guest friendly, in case someone happens to stop by and have a few pointers to give us, or something they'd like to see before they join. Our friendly staff checks this board regularly, so your question or suggestion will be viewed in no time at all.

Come here for any non-student position, Death Eaters, Ministry officials, Teaching staff, etc. Also located here are the Registrations for Prefect, Quidditch positions and Celebrity claims, also the Magical Abilities. Character Board (4 sub-boards) This board contains everything your character could ever possibly need. We have the Thread track, so you can keep track of the threads you post in, Character journals for your character to reflect on anything that may be happening to them, Photo Albums for pictures of your character doing various things, and, reinstated, the Character Relations board, where you can post amazing little things depicting your character's relationship to the other characters of the site.
Dungeons (5 sub-boards) The Dungeons of Hogwarts are brilliantly assembled passageways under the castle. Here, the Potions class resides, as well as the Potions Professor's office. Slytherin and Hufflepuff both have their Common Rooms down here, separated by a lengthy corridor. Off one end, there is a large painting of a bowl of fruit, odd against the gloomy atmosphere of coats of armor and dusty dark tapestries. If you tickle the pear, it becomes a doorknob, leading into the Kitchens. Opposite from the kitchens, you'll find a very large room, usually used as a ballroom for School dances and the like. The door just across the hall from it is the Dueling class, where individuals learn how to combat one another.
Ground Floor (3 sub-boards) To enter the castle, one must go through the large oak double doors. This opens up into a very large room with a staircase directly across from the entrance doors. A door to the left of you opens up into a simple broom closet. Be careful though, as there was a spell placed on it years before that will keep you locked in there after hours, until daylight. A door directly across from the closet leads into the Great Hall, where the students and staff are fed at each meal time. Outside the doors, and to the right of them, the House Point hourglasses stand, signifying how many points each House has. on either side of the staircase, there is a door, both leading to the dungeons.
First Floor (3 sub-boards) As you venture up the steps, the first floor you come to is, but of course, the first floor. In this floor, you'll first come across an empty room that used to serve the purpose of McGonagall's office, back in the day. These days, it is cometimes used as a staff lounge, or when the staff has to have a meeting. Sometimes, it is used for the minor detentions that students would get. Shortly downthe way from that room is the Transfiguration classroom, where students are taught how to change one object into another. At the end of this corridor, just before the stairs, there is a vacant classroom, for use only when any other class is unable to be used.
Second Floor (4 sub-boards) This floor connects all things on the second level of Hogwarts. Benches are scattered about, so that people waiting for class, or just wanting to sit somewhere, are welcome to do so. The library is the first thing one will see, as it is the first door in sight as you come up the steps. The Charms class, also on that side of the hallway, is further down. Let's not forget our dear friend, Myrtle, whose bathroom is the only adornment of the opposite side of the hallway.
Third Floor (4 sub-boards) Quite possibly the most changed floor of Hogwarts, the third floor. As you enter it, you can almost feel the Darkness in the air. This is quite possibly due to the fact that the hall is focused mainly on Dark Magic, and the defense against it. Defense Against the Dark Arts stands at one side of the corridor. Down a little ways from that class is the History of Hogwarts class, where they talk of the famous people that started their lives here in Hogwarts, as well as important events that happened in the school. The Trophy room still stands at the end of the hallway, and is fairly untouched, except for the addiction of some plaques and trophies.
Fourth Floor (5 sub-boards) The Fourth Floor of Hogwarts is also sometimes called the Health Floor. Or, well. Here it is. More predominate than the Health facilities is the Headmistress's office. Ashley resides here, doing... Headmistress stuff. The Hospital Wing, though not really a Wing, is located directly across from the staircase. Just limp along to it. The Healing class is close, just a mere few steps away. For the more boring people, History of Magic is on the opposite side of the hall.
Fifth Floor (6 sub-boards) This floor is perhaps the most absurd one of Hogwarts. With all the teaching of magical elements and such, you wouldn't think that any witch or wizard would need to know anything about Muggles. Everything on this floor is Muggle related. Muggle Studies is the predominate class here. Across from it is the Art and music classrooms. The boys bathroom also resides in this floor.
Sixth Floor (5 sub-boards) Nothing really goes on in the sixth floor. It's like one of those levels that you just ignore on your way up or down. The only remote thing of interest is the Room of Requirement, but most people don't know that exists, so it's not a very big deal. Ancient Runes is also on this floor, but yay for excitement there. A Storage room and the girl's bathroom finish the utmost boringness of this floor.
Seventh Floor (5 sub-boards) The seventh floor is mostly just a flat for the towers to bare entrance. The Mythology class is here as well. Gryffindor tower is on the left, and a series of other towers can be found beyond the other doors. Windows at one end give a brilliant view of the grounds, mostly the lake and forest.
Grounds (8 sub-boards) The vast grounds of Hogwarts stretch as far as the eye can see. A dirt path reaches from the entrance gates to the front doors, passing a large hut that once belonged to that of Rubeus Hagrid, long since standing empty. The Care of Magical Creatures class is still taught near to there, however. A fork in the dirt path will lead you toward the Forbidden Forest, a large patch of trees that are home to many magical creatures. This will bring you to another fork. To the left, you'll head toward the green houses, and Herbology class. The right takes you a ways, to the Quidditch pitch. Going back to the original trail, you'd see the Black Lake stretching around Hogwarts before you saw anything. Unless one looks hard, they might not see the Graveyard from that distance. Though there are no known bodies other than Dumbdore's resting in that plot, there are several stones, depicting names of people who have perished at Hogwarts.
Diagon Alley (16 sub-boards) This area is a magical shopping center, located behind the pub, The Leaky Cauldron. One must travel through the pub to the alley in back, and tap a special brick in the wall, opening a passage through which they may pass through. The alley is completely hidden from the Muggle world, as they seem to not even notice the Leaky Cauldron within their world. The street is lined with wizarding shops on either side, and the walkway is almost always filled with people. At the end of the street, Gringotts Wizarding Bank stands tall. Through a side street, a shopping place with less of a good reputation, Knockturn Alley, branches off.
Knockturn Alley (5 sub-boards) Knockturn Alley is a notorious shopping center filled with assorted shops devoted to the Dark Arts. Though it is not so much populated in the years since the downfall of Voldemort, there have been known to be very strange, possibly dangerous people to lurk there. Knockturn Alley isn't directly accessible from the Muggle World, but one entrance is found through Diagon Alley. Two other common forms of entrance are Floo and Apparition.
Hogsmeade (9 sub-boards) Hogsmeade is mainly known for its shopping center, where students may visit on weekend trips. It is also known as the only all-wizarding village in Britian. Hogsmeade wwas founded around the same time as Hogwarts by a midieval wizard by the name of Hengist of Woodcroft as he was fleeing persecution by Muggles. It is located at the northwest of Hogwarts castle. Students third year and above, with signed permission slips from their guardians, are allowed to visit the shopping street. The village is made up of thatched cottages and shops, and has been said to look like a Christmas card in the winters when there is a fresh layer of snow.
Magical London (9 sub-boards) Magical London is a collective board of shops and other places that are soully accessible by those of Magical blood. Here, people do not have to worry about using magic in front of Muggles, or otherwise doing something that might compromise the Statute of Security. Here, you can find St. Mungo's Hospital, The Ministry of Magic, The Daily Prophet and Witch Weekly offices, an apartment complex, a building for the creative arts, A Park, the hottest dance club this side of the Milkyway, and a daycare for your little ones to play.
Mountainous Region Amongst the wildlife and the rocks, what remains of Voldemort's mighty regime reside here. Most banished from the Magical society due to their accordance with the Dark Lord, others fled for their lives, knowing the Dementors would make quick work of them, if they were caught. All have the common goal of biding their time, awaiting the rise of their fallen lord, or awaiting the rise of a new one, and all hoping they won't get caught.
Character Homes (30 sub-boards) The homes within are located all around the country, and belong to either the inhabitants of Hogwarts, or their parents, along with their families. If you would like a home created for you, please fill in a registry in the Registrations Board.
Muggle London (9 sub-boards) The beautiful country of London is filled with many amazing things from the Ocean ports to the city shops. Farms stretch, as well as cities. The one main difference between here and the Magical areas is just that, these areas are frequented by a large majority of Muggles. Any Magical folk roaming here would need to be in Muggle clothes, and keep Magic to a bare minimum, so as not to raise suspicion to the Muggle residents.
Fun Stuff (5 sub-boards) Need a quick laugh? Some games to play? This would be the perfect board for you. Found in this board is a board specifically for funny things, such as a funny picture, or hilarious joke. There is also the beginning of HPGTSS from our very own, Foamy, and NTI, written by our admin, Ashley. And, of course, what fun board would be complete without a board dedicated to games?
Discussion Board (3 sub-boards) This board is dedicated to all forms of talking. Talking of Harry Potter, of usual random stuff, just a board dedicated to talking.
